This is a good book and it was as described when purchased. I suggest buying the study guide in addition to the text book, it is a MUST buy.
This was required for one of my college courses. I am learned a lot from this course and the book was easy to navigate so happy.
I am to chapter 5 for my Finance class and I am very impressed with this book because it is easy to learn from. I wish all text books were more like it. I am going to hold on to it after my class is over.

Finance is hard and this book does a great job of breaking down the information. The book provides detailed information about how to compute financial data and it has self test at the end of each chapter that you can take and the answers are provided in the back.
Excellent book to keep for future reference. Well organized material and good examples. The material helped me to get a feel of what finance is.
This is a great textbook, but the publisher is pulling a fast one on students. The university my wife attends started using their "own" version of this textbook and she was told it was impossible to use the 12th edition. Their own verision was just half of this textbook, and you had to buy the other half for the higher level course.
Turns out the instructor lied, not only could the students use the 12th edition, the instructor used the 12th edition.
Before putting out the money for this, get the 12th edition used for about 5.00 and wait and see if there is a need for this verison. ( honestly we have both now ,and the 12th is actually laid out better ).
